The Australian Citizenship Pledge (or oath) is a legal commitment made at a citizenship ceremony. You can choose between two versions of the pledge: an Oath (which includes "under God") and an Affirmation (which does not). [1, 2]
Option 1: The Oath (with religious reference)
"From this time forward, under God, I pledge my loyalty to Australia and its people, whose democratic beliefs I share, whose rights and liberties I respect, and whose laws I uphold and obey."
Option 2: The Affirmation (without religious reference)
"From this time forward, I pledge my loyalty to Australia and its people, whose democratic beliefs I share, whose rights and liberties I respect, and whose laws I uphold and obey." https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/citizenship/ceremony
