This is the launch event for CAS NOW! – a national movement for the political discipleship of Christian (& curious) young adults. Get informed, equipped, connected with others like you and involved in saving Australia like no generation before NOW! has.
“God, I am politically inexperienced; so
give me an understanding mind
so I can make political decisions and distinguish right from wrong. Otherwise no one is able to make good governance decisions for this great nation of yours.”
1 Kings 3:7-9 (paraphrase)
Church And State (CAS) exists to help Christians live and preach the Gospel in the Public Square – “politics” – to faithfully say what God says about the most debated issues in our nation, and to effectively redeem the culture.
The Bible says righteousness exalts a nation, and to pray for those in authority, but just praying for righteous government in an inclusive democracy like Australia’s isn’t enough. That’s like leaning on a shovel and praying for a hole!
